Stella Hemetsberger: A Lucky Accident That Became Destiny
In 2012, a 13-year-old Stella entered RS-GYM Salzburg looking for boxing lessons. Instead, she discovered Muay Thai—and her life changed forever. Under coaches Roland Schwarz and Christin Fiedler, her natural talent quickly surfaced. Combinations, kicks, and clinch work seemed to come instinctively.

In 2018, Stella traveled to Thailand to train in the birthplace of Muay Thai. The experience reshaped her style—combining European technical accuracy with Thai rhythm, clinch mastery, and fighting spirit.
By the time she turned professional in 2022, she carried a 5–1 record and the attention of the world’s biggest stage: ONE Championship.
Stella Hemetsberger Making Waves in ONE Championship
Stella debuted in Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium at ONE Friday Fights in 2024—and made an immediate statement. Three straight victories, including a stunning first-round knockout of Vanessa Romanowski, earned her a US$100,000 contract and a place on the ONE main roster.
Her breakthrough came at ONE Fight Night 35 (2025), where she defeated Jackie Buntan to capture the vacant ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship—becoming Austria’s first athlete to achieve this honor.
Today, Stella proudly represents RS-GYM Salzburg and Phuket Fight Club, standing at the top of the global Muay Thai scene.
